1. Who we are
"We", "us", "our" means Leak Detection and Pipe Repairs Perth - a registered business name of Plumbed Right Pty Ltd (ABN 48 145 689 907), licensed plumbing contractor PL7390, gasfitting permit GF13592, operating from Unit 46, 110 Inspiration Drive, Wangara WA 6065.
"You" or "Customer" means the person or entity who books a service or on whose property work is performed.
2. Services
We provide non-destructive leak detection, water-leak pinpointing, burst-pipe location, Iplex Pro-fit pipe investigation, and same-visit pipe repair where access allows, across Perth metropolitan and Peel regions.
Our standard methods include FLIR thermal imaging, acoustic correlation, hydrogen tracer gas, and pipe locating. We do not perform general plumbing maintenance, gas fitting unrelated to leak investigation, or work outside our licensed scope.
3. Bookings & service tiers
You can book by phone, SMS, email, or our website form. We will confirm a visit window once we have enough information to schedule.

Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless otherwise stated. Prices can change - the rate quoted at the time of booking applies to that booking.
4. No Find, No Fee
If we cannot locate a leak greater than 10 litres per hour, audible, or weeping water during the first-hour detection visit, there is no charge for that visit. This guarantee does not apply where:
- Access to the suspected leak area is denied or unsafe.
- The cause is not a water leak (e.g. condensation, roof ingress, plumbing fixture issue rather than pipe failure).
- You request additional investigation beyond the first-hour detection scope (charged at standard rates).
- Work has been disturbed or modified by another party between our visits.
5. Quotes & written reports
For repair work beyond the detection visit, we provide a written quote and a leak-detection report before any concrete is broken or major work begins. You may accept the quote in writing (including reply by SMS or email) or decline and pay only the detection fee.
Quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
6. Payment
- Payment for detection visits and standard repairs is due on the day of work.
- We accept cash, EFTPOS, credit card (Visa / Mastercard / Amex), and bank transfer.
- Credit card processing: 1.49% + 30c surcharge.
- On-site cash payment: $50 discount on the first-hour detection fee.
- On-site card payment: $25 discount on the first-hour detection fee.
- 30-day end-of-month payment terms available on request: +$50 surcharge.
- Unpaid invoices: a late-payment fee may apply, and outstanding amounts may be referred to a debt-recovery agency at the Customer's cost.
7. Cancellation
- You may cancel or reschedule with more than 24 hours' notice at no cost.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the booked window: $100 cancellation fee.
- If we cannot attend due to our own scheduling, we will reschedule at no cost and waive any cancellation fee that would otherwise apply.
8. Access & site conditions
You are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property and the suspected leak area at the booked time. If a leak is in a location that requires destructive access (e.g. cutting concrete, removing tiles, lifting floorboards), we will not perform that destructive work without your written authorisation in the form of an accepted quote.
You confirm that you are the owner of the property, or have the owner's authority to engage us. If you are not the owner, we may require written authorisation from the owner before commencing repair work.
9. Water Corporation Leak Allowance
Where applicable, we complete the Water Corporation Leak Allowance form documenting the leak and repair, at no extra charge. The decision to grant a leak allowance rests with the Water Corporation; we cannot guarantee approval or any specific allowance amount.
10. Warranty
We warrant our workmanship on completed repairs for 12 months from the date of the repair, against defects in our work. This warranty does not cover:
- Failure caused by third parties (other plumbers, builders, or property owners) after we leave site.
- New leaks unrelated to the repaired section of pipe.
- Damage from impact, ground movement, freezing, illegal work, or modifications made after our work.
- Materials supplied by you or by a third party (manufacturer warranty applies).
This warranty operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our liability for any claim is limited to re-supplying the relevant service or refunding the amount paid for that service, at our discretion.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses (including loss of rent, business interruption, or damage caused by leaks we were not engaged to find).
- Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Insurance & licensing
We hold current public liability insurance and the licences listed in Section 1 (PL7390 plumbing contractor, GF13592 gasfitting permit). Certificates of currency available on request.
13. Photos & before/after content
From time to time we may take photos or videos of work in progress (avoiding identifying personal details of you, your family, or the inside of your home where reasonable) for training, quality assurance, and marketing purposes. If you do not wish photos to be used in any external marketing, please tell us at the time of the visit.
14. Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. The courts of Western Australia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms.
16. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force at the date of your booking apply to that booking. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when this version was issued.
